John Mayer posted a entry in his official yesterday, where he made a comment about the papz ragging on ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson because of the Cowboys upsetting lost Sunday night. And seriously, he swears that it "isn't a publicity stunt" but I think it is.

Dear Dallas and Surrounding Areas,
This isn't a sports blog, and it isn't a publicity stunt. (but have at me if it feels right.)
This is about doing what I think is right as a person, in this case speaking my mind.
I have never known anyone to have more pride in their home state and their upbringing in it than Jessica Simpson has in Texas. I don't really follow sports, but I have played some of my biggest and best concerts in your state, and having witnessed how dynamic the spirit there is, I'm betting emotions are running high right about now.
All witty barbs, blogs, and fashion policing aside, that girl loves Texas more than you know. It's one of her most defining traits as a person. So please don't try and take that away from her. (You probably wouldn't be able to, but it's less work for all involved.)
I just thought it would mean something coming from the guy who has the absolute least to gain from this. And if I'm out of line in having written it, too bad. I can spare a Wednesday's worth of bad press if it means sticking up for a good soul.

Cowboys are officially out of the playoffs! The team lost to the New York Giants 21 to 17. Guess they won't be going to the SuperBowl, like the video above says. Terrell Owens is upset too, he was seen balling his poor eyes out after the game. :( Were all so upset. Maybe they lost because Jessica Simpson made Tony Romo nervous.. again. She sent a flying message over the Texas Stadium saying "Good luck Tony *HEART* Jess".

Jessica Simpson new movie Blonde Ambition was released Friday in select theatre around Texas and only made $384. With tickets priced at $8 a piece, it means only 48 people saw her movie. Not even Luke Wilson can save Jessica. It's set to release in January on DVD. Her other movie Major Movie Star is also going straight to DVD.

Jessica Simpson is banned from the Cowboys' locker room! Jess is the subject of all the crude jokes within the Cowboys team. Romo had the worst game scoring barely anything, while girlfriend sat in the stand cheering her blonde butt off, and she was wearing his jersey! Terrell Owens isn't too happy with her either.

Terrell Owens:"Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite in this locker room or in Texas Stadium. I think with everything that has happened, and obviously the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel like she's probably taking his focus away. Jessica Simpson was spotted at the Dallas Cowboys football game today. She was seen wearing Tony Romo's football jersey,with pink numbers. Cowboys lost 10 to 6 making this the second loss all season. Obviously, the cameramen were very excited to see her there, as they pointed to her several times. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman made continues remarks about her. And they say they aren't dating.

Jessica Simpson's new movie must be a stinker! So bad it's not even coming out in theaters! Obviously, they realized how bad her other movies did and didn't want to embarrass her. Poor Jess. You'd think after her Public Affair CD did so badly that she would just pull herself out of society. BUT NOPE! She just keeps on trying. You gotta give her an A for effort though. Apparently, Jess notices this also and is trying to save her career. According, to Stuff.co Jessica is desperate to do a nude scene.

"The only hitch is that the script requires a number of quite graphic scenes including a full-frontal nude scene. Jessica is so desperate to land the role and get the industry's respect that she's ready to go against her better judgement, and her family, by agreeing to bare all," a sources says.
